Four people were injured when a helicopter crashed while taking off from an airport in South Florida, according to local officials and federal investigators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crash happened Saturday morning at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, about 15 miles north of Miami. Police said<\/a> officers were assisting at the scene after a helicopter crash was reported at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue told WTVJ<\/a> that crews found the helicopter with moderate damage. The pilot and three passengers were already out of the aircraft when firefighters arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All four people on board were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said they were in stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federal Aviation Administration said the helicopter, a Robinson R44, crashed while it was departing from the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
