No stranger to the digital realm— in June 2015, Valles co-founded BNONews.com, a digital platform featuring text, video, and audio content which reaches a monthly audience of more than 7 million people worldwide and has been cited by hundreds of worldwide media outlets, including CBS News, NBC News, FOX News, Sky News, CNET, Forbes, Xinhua, Sputnik, AOL, Time, USA Today, and others.

From North Korea’s nuclear tests to the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Valles has covered some of the world’s biggest news events in recent memory. His video reports have been viewed and syndicated internationally and seen by more than 25+ million people.

Previously, Valles worked at WTVM-TV (ABC/FOX) and WLTZ-TV (NBC) and began his career at WBBM-TV (CBS) and WSIU-TV (PBS).

Aside from journalism, Valles is deeply involved in the field of Computer Science.  Valles is currently a Graduate student in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence at DePaul University in Chicago. He currently serves as the Communication Chair for IEEE Region 4 (SAC) and is actively involved in the computing community.

Some of his areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, specifically Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Big Data. Valles is passionate about Software Engineering and learning about all things tech and innovation.

Valles, who is fluent in Spanish, previously produced and hosted a daily tech segment, which aired on ABC/FOX in Georgia. He is a member of IEEE, the Association for Computing Machinery, and is dedicated to coding for good.
