Ohio Amber Alert: 3 children abducted from Colerain

UPDATE: The amber alert has been canceled. The stolen and the children have both been found at a local Walmart. The suspect is still at large.

An Ohio Amber Alert has been issued for 3 young children who were allegedly abducted from Colerain, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.

The incident happened at about 3 p.m. on Saturday when an SUV with 3 children inside of it was stolen outside a convenience store on West Galbraith Road. The suspect was identified as 33-year-old Howard Mullis.

The stolen vehicle is a silver 2004 Volkswagen Touareg with Ohio license plate number HIM7552. Officials say the vehicle was last seen traveling north on I-275, passing Hamilton Avenue.

Photos of Mullis and the children have not been released.

Mullis is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

The children have been identified as 4-year-old Cameron Wells, 1-year-old Laiyah Wells, and 3-year-old Camiyah Fields.

Cameron Wells is described as a 4-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He has a small build and was last seen wearing a white shirt with brown stripes and black pants.

Laiyah Wells is described as a 1-year-old balck female with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, according to the amber alert.

Camiyah Fields is described as a 3-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with hearts.

Anyone who sees the children, Mullis, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Colerain Police Department at 513-321-2677 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
