POTUS entered the Barry Auditorium at the library at 1pm to a standing ovation. His remarks are being live-streamed.
Large floor-to-ceiling windows behind the stage let attendees look out on the North Dakota Badlands. Instead of Roosevelt’s birthplace of New York, the library was constructed next to Theodore Roosevelt National Park as a nod to the formative period of time the former president spent in the Badlands.
