DAILY GUIDANCE FOR THE VICE PRESIDENT

TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2009

The Vice President is in Washington DC.

In the morning, the Vice President will meet with King Abdullah of Jordan. This meeting is closed press.

He will then host two conference calls to discuss Recovery Act implementation. The first call is with a group of governors from across the country; the second call is with a group of mayors from across the country. These calls are closed press.

In the afternoon, the Vice President will join the President for a meeting with Senator Kennedy and President Clinton in the Oval Office to discuss their shared commitment to national service. There will be a pool photo spray at the top of the meeting.

The Vice President and Dr. Biden attend the bill signing Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act at The SEED School of Washington, D.C.

Following the signing, the Vice President and Dr. Biden will participate in a service activity in Washington, D.C. This event is pooled press.
