Ahead of POTUS, South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum delivered remarks.
"Welcome to the better Dakota," Rhoden teased Burgum, former North Dakota governor.
Burgum’s speech was punctuated by a flyover of a B-52.
As it concluded, four Blackhawks flew over as Gloria played loudly.
The amphitheater appears filled, with lots of attendees in cowboy hats and patriotic gear, some sipping boozy seltzers.
Mount Rushmore is illuminated above the stage.
Pooler also spotted Sebastian Gorka in the crowd.
