Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s former wife, diagnosed with breast cancer
Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr. and former daughter-in-law of President Trump, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She said she is working with doctors on a treatment plan.
“I want to share a personal health update,” Vanessa Trump said in a statement posted on social media on Wednesday. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.”
Trump said doctors performed a procedure earlier this week, but she did not provide more details about the diagnosis, the procedure or the stage of the cancer.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she said. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.”
Vanessa Trump, 48, was married to Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, from 2005 until their divorce in 2018. The former couple have five children.
She has been in a relationship with golfer Tiger Woods since at least 2025, when Woods publicly confirmed the relationship in a social media post.
“Thank you for your kindness and support,” she said. “It truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
