Washington Amber Alert: Benjamin Fargher abducted in Vancouver
UPDATE: The amber alert has been canceled. Ben was found safe.
A Washington state Amber Alert has been issued for 6-year-old Benjamin “Ben” Fargher after he was allegedly abducted in Vancouver, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
April Brinkman, a 45-year-old woman, is accused of driving from New Mexico to Vancouver before taking Ben from his father, who has full custody of the child, according to the amber alert.
The nature of Brinkman’s relationship to Ben was not specified.
Brinkman is believed to have taken the child in a gold 2013 Acura RDX vehicle with Oregon license plate number 787FZE. It’s unknown where they’re heading.
Fargher is described as a 6-year-old male with blonde hair and blue eyes, standing 3 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue Mario pajama shirt.
Brinkman is described as a 45-year-old female with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.
Anyone who sees Ben, Brinkman or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Clark County Sheriff’s Office if you have any other information that could help investigators.
