Texas Amber Alert: Ella and Audrey Lee abducted in Tyler
UPDATE: The amber alert has been canceled. Ella and Audrey were found safe.
A Texas Amber Alert has been issued for 9-year-old Ella Lee and 7-year-old Audrey Lee after they were allegedly abducted from Tyler in Smith County, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
Ella and Lee were last seen at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the 8400 block of Cambridge Road in Tyler, according to the amber alert. Specific details about the circumstances of their abduction were not immediately released.
The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Chase Lee, who is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt, blue jeans and khaki shoes.
The suspect is believed to have taken the children in a white 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche with Texas license plate number DXV6695. The white truck has black trim and beach access stickers on the front windshield.
Ella is described as a 9-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 4 feet tall and weighing 60 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan shirt, black shorts and blue high top shoes.
Audrey is described as a 7-year-old white female with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 3 feet tall and weighing 40 pounds. She was last seen wearing a mustard colored shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who sees Ella, Audrey, Lee or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Tyler Police Department at (903) 531-1000 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
