Tennessee Amber Alert: 3 children taken from Goodlettsville
UPDATE: The amber alert has been canceled. The children have been found and are safe, according to TBI. The suspect remains at large.
A Tennessee Amber Alert has been issued for 3 young children who have been taken from Goodlettsville by an armed man who made “suicidal and homicidal” threats, police say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
The incident happened on Saturday when the children were taken by 32-year-old Keith Tansil, who is armed with a semi-automatic handgun. He is accused of making “suicidal and homicidal threats” towards himself and the children.
Tansil is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with dark blue sleeves and white stars, burgundy pants, a red vest and orange and black shoes.
Tansil is believed to have taken the children in either a white 2006 Chevy Malibu with a temporary tag or a 2016 Silver Kia with Tennessee license plate number Z7863S. He may be heading to Antioch or LaVergne.
The children have been identified as 10-month-old Brett Tansil (black male, 2 feet tall, 20 pounds), 2-year-old Caleb Fuller (black male, 2 feet 6 inches tall, 40 pounds), and 4-year-old Jacob Fuller (black male, 2 feet 8 inches tall, 40 pounds).
Anyone who sees either Keith Tansil, the missing children, or the suspect vehicles is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Goodlettsville Police Department at 615-859-3405 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
