Pennsylvania Amber Alert: 4 children abducted from Allegheny County
A Pennsylvania Amber Alert has been issued for four young children after they were allegedly abducted from McKees Rocks in Allegheny County, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
The children were last seen on Carson Street in McKees Rocks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, but details about the kidnapping were not immediately released. They were allegedly taken by 28-year-old Rodney Edward Copeland.
The suspect is believed to have taken the children in a gold 2004 Ford Excursion with Pennsylvania license plates JZX3178. There was no immediate word on the nature of his relationship to the children.
The victims have been identified as: Tazhiaa Copeland, a 5-year-old black female; Tashii Copeland, a 6-year-old black female; Rhozyii Copeland, a 3-year-old black male; and Rodney Copeland, a 5-year-old black male.
The suspect, Rodney Copeland, is described as a 28-year-old light-skinned black male with black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall. It’s unknown where he might be heading.
Anyone who sees the children, the suspect, or the suspect vehicle, is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the McKees Rocks Police Department if you have any other information that could help investigators.

- Tashii Copeland, a 6-year-old black female, described as having black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing red shorts and a black\white flowered shirt.
- Rhozyii Copeland, a 3-year-old black male, described as having black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt with orange and red stripes.
- Rodney Copeland, a 5-year-old black male, described as having black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue collared shirt.
