Bridge collapses in eastern Taiwan, at least 6 missing
A bridge has collapsed in Nanfang’ao in eastern Taiwan, crushing a number of boats and causing a truck to fall, local officials say. At least 6 people are missing and 12 others are injured.
The cause of the Tuesday’s bridge collapse was not immediately known, but Typhoon Mitag swept through the region earlier on Tuesday. A video released by the Coast Guard Administration shows the accident.
