A woman was arrested after shots were fired at Rihanna’s home in Beverly Hills, California, according to the Los Angeles Times and TMZ. No injuries were reported.
Police responded at 1:21 p.m. on Sunday and took a 30-year-old woman into custody after she allegedly fired multiple rounds from a vehicle toward the singer’s property, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing police and a law enforcement source.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Rihanna was home at the time and that at least one round penetrated a wall of the mansion. According to police dispatch audio cited by the outlet, about 10 shots were fired from a white Tesla parked across the street from the gate.
TMZ reported that the suspect drove up near the property and fired several shots in the direction of the home before police moved in and detained her without further incident. The motive was not immediately clear.
It was not immediately clear whether Rihanna’s partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their children were at the home at the time of the shooting.
