10 injured after motorcyclist loses control, strikes people in Brooklyn park
Ten people were injured when a woman lost control of a three-wheeled motorcycle and struck a group of people inside a Brooklyn park, according to police and local media. Four of the injured were listed in critical condition.
The crash happened at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday inside Commodore Barry Park, near Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn, according to News 12 Brooklyn, citing the NYPD.
Police said the woman was operating the three-wheeled motorcycle when it struck several people who were inside the park. She was also among those injured in the crash.
Four people were listed in critical but stable condition, while six others were in stable condition, according to News 12. All 10 were taken to local hospitals. Police said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
PIX11 reported that the woman lost control before striking the group, but it was not immediately clear what caused her to lose control.
