At least 13 people were injured in a drive-by shooting on Chicago’s South Side, according to police. One of the victims was critically injured.

The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. on Friday near West 95th Street and South Princeton Avenue in the Princeton Park neighborhood, according to WLS. Investigators believe a red SUV pulled up next to a large crowd before two people inside the vehicle opened fire and fled.

Officers who responded to the scene found two people with gunshot wounds, while 10 others took themselves to local hospitals. Police later said a 13th victim refused medical treatment.

The victims included eight men, four women and a 17-year-old boy, with ages ranging from 17 to 47, according to police information reported by WLS. A 26-year-old man who was shot in the body was listed in critical condition, while the others were reported to be in good condition.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released, including whether the victims were targeted. No arrests have been announced.

During a Juneteenth rally on Saturday, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson was asked about the shooting, according to WFLD.

“Last night was another reminder of how much work we still have to do to the lives who have been impacted by gun violence, know that my administration is working overtime not only to hold people accountable, to remove illegal guns off the streets of the city of Chicago,” Johnson said. “We’re not going to tolerate the senseless acts of violence.”
