3 dead after shooting at home in Lakeland, Florida
Three people have been found dead after a shooting at a home on East Magnolia Street in Lakeland, Florida, officials say. A fourth person was shot in the face.
Polk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at about 6:45 a.m. ET on Wednesday after a 911 call reported a shooting. Deputies arrived at the scene and located four victims inside the residence at 2312 East Magnolia Street, which is in the Combee area of Lakeland. Thre
Sheriff Grady Judd told reporters at the scene that 3 of the victims were pronounced dead, and described them as a Hispanic female, a white female, and a black male. The fourth victim, a Hispanic male, was shot in the face and rushed to Lakeland Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
Sheriff Judd said no suspects have been identified so far, and the motive is unknown, but he added that there is no known threat to the community. Forensic investigators along with a mobile command truck were at the scene on Wednesday morning.
