Trump claims he misspoke on Russia’s alleged election meddling
Facing intense criticism, President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he misspoke during his press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump said he believes the U.S. intelligence community in their conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election, though at the same time he added that it could also be “other people.”
