California Amber Alert: Aranza Ochoa Lopez abducted from Washington
A California Amber Alert has been issued for 4-year-old Aranza Ochoa Lopez after she was allegedly abducted in Washington state by her non-custodial mother. They are believed to be heading for Mexico.
The incident happened on Thursday afternoon, when Esmeralda Lopez was with her daughter for a visit that was supervised by Child Protective Services. It’s unknown why she does not have custody of her child.
The two were last seen in California and Esmeralda is believed to be taking the child to Mexico. They are traveling in a red 2012 Chevrolet Cobalt with Washington license plate BLK1552.
Esmeralda is described as a 21-year-old female with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet tall and weighing 138 pounds. Aranza is a 4-year-old female with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who sees Esmeralda, Aranza, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the California Highway Patrol if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
