Leonid Radvinsky, owner of OnlyFans, dies at 43

Leonid Radvinsky, the businessman behind adult-content platform OnlyFans, has died at 43, the company said. He died after a long battle with cancer.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” an OnlyFans spokesperson said in a statement. “His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, and later based in Chicago, Radvinsky was a technology entrepreneur best known as the owner of OnlyFans through Fenix International, the London-based company behind the platform.

OnlyFans, launched in 2016, allows creators to charge subscribers for access to photos, videos and direct interactions, and became widely known for adult content, though it also hosts musicians, fitness instructors and other creators.

The platform saw explosive growth during the COVID-19 pandemic and became a major business in the creator economy, generating billions of dollars in payments to creators and significant revenue for its parent company.

Radvinsky kept a relatively low public profile despite owning one of the internet’s most recognizable subscription platforms. He is survived by his wife and four children.
