NASA TV shut down on August 28, 2024 after more than 4 decades of coverage. The channel was replaced by NASA+, an on-demand streaming service. Going forward, live events will be aired on NASA+ and YouTube.

NASA TV provided live coverage of space missions and other events related to space exploration. It also aired educational programming.
