15 vehicles involved in major crash on I-70 near Denver
A truck has crashed into traffic on Interstate 70 near Denver, causing multiple explosions and a huge fire that burned multiple vehicles, officials and witnesses say. At least 12 cars and 3 semis were involved.
John Romero, of Lakewood Police, said “multiple” people were killed and 10 others were injured. Among those hurt is a West Metro firefighter who suffered minor injuries when an item, possibly a tire, exploded.
