Hermine pelting Carolinas with heavy rain, high winds

Hermine hit Florida's Panhandle Friday morning before moving toward Georgia and the Carolinas as a tropical storm. Thousands have been left without power and forecasters expect floods and dangerous riptides along parts of the East Coast through the weekend.
