Shooting at Central Georgia Technical College in Macon

Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) in Macon has been put on lockdown due to reports of an active shooter on campus, school officials say. Only few details were immediately available but no injuries have been reported. (more)
The incident began at around 11:40 a.m. on Monday when CGTC issued an emergency alert to students, warning people on the Macon campus to shelter in place immediately. "Active shooter reported," it said in the alert.
According to initial reports, police received a call that shots were being fired outside a building on campus and that a vehicle was seen driving away. It is unclear whether investigators have confirmed that shots were fired.
Police and other emergency services are at the scene, but there have been no reports of injuries.
