Ohio Amber Alert: Omar Stanley abducted from Ashtabula

An Ohio Amber Alert has been issued for 1-year-old Omar Stanley after he was allegedly abducted from Ashtabula by his father, Jeffrey Stanley. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident occurred at about 7:05 p.m. on Saturday when Omar was taken from 3404 Lake Avenue in Ashtabula in Ashtabula County. Details about the exact circumstances of the kidnapping were not immediately released.
Stanley is believed to have taken the child in a blue 2016 Hyundai Veloster with Ohio license plate GST-8588, according to the Ashtabula Police Department. It is unknown where he may be taking the child.
Stanley is a 26-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt. Omar is described as a 1-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing green pajamas with monkeys on it.
Anyone who sees Omar, Stanley, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Ashtabula Police Department at 440 992 7172 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
