The incident was reported on late Sunday morning when two adults were found deceased inside a home in the 7500 block of Glenncannon Drive in east Charlotte. Arieyana - who lives at the residence - was taken from the home.

"Upon arrival, officers located a male and female deceased inside the residence. The victims were pronounced on scene by the responding officers," a police spokesperson said. "The identity of the male and female will be released pending family notification."

A description of the suspects was not immediately available, but Arieyana is described as an 11-year-old black female with long straight black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. It is unknown if the suspects are known to the child.

Investigators believe the suspects fled the scene in a white 2005 Chevrolet Impala with North Carolina license plate PAV-4294, which was seen leaving the scene just before officers arrived. The suspects are possibly armed with handguns.

Anyone who sees Arieyana or the vehicle is urged urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department at 704-336-2340 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
