Sgt. Elizabeth Armijo, a spokeswoman for New Mexico State Police, said Alivia was abducted from a residence in Roswell by her mother, Michelle Lee Tyler. "Alivia's father contacted police to report her missing," Armijo said, adding that officers are speaking with the child's father.

Other details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released, but New Mexico State Police said Alivia is believed to be in danger if she is not located immediately. It is unknown where Tyler may be taking the child or how they are traveling.

Michelle Lee Tyler is described as a 35-year-old white female with blond hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Anyone who sees Alivia or Tyler is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Roswell Police Department at 575-624-6770 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
