Just after 5 p.m., the base said in an update on Facebook: "No shooter was found. The base is no longer on lockdown. Other details - such as where the report of a shooting originated from - were not immediately disclosed.

Travis Air Force Base is located about 3 miles (5 kilometers) east of Fairfield in Solano County.
