WATCH LIVE: SpaceX rocket carrying satellite lifts off from Florida

UPDATE: For the second day in a row, the launch was aborted just 9 seconds before lift-off. The reason was not immediately known. A new launch attempt has not yet been scheduled.

SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Intelsat 35e satellite from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch is expected to take place at about 8:35 p.m. ET. Due to mission requirements, SpaceX will not attempt to land the rocket's first stage.
