North Carolina Amber Alert: Colvin Zavier abducted from Red Springs

A North Carolina Amber Alert has been issued for 21-month-old Colvin W. Zavier after he was allegedly abducted from Red Springs in Robeson County, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened earlier on Friday when Colvin was allegedly taken from Westgate Terrace Apartment 19E in Red Springs, but specific details about the circumstances of his abduction were not immediately released by authorities.

The suspect has been identified as Sabrina Danielle Locklear, a 20-year-old Native American female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, black or brown knee high boots and a dark jacket.

The victim is described as a 21-month-old black male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 2 feet tall and weighing about 30 pounds. It is unknown what he was wearing when he was taken. There was also no word on his relationship, if any, to the suspect.

Anyone who sees either Colvin or Locklear is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Red Springs Police Department at (910) 843-3454 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
