Oklahoma Amber Alert: 2 children abducted in Chickasaw Nation

UPDATE: The amber alert has been canceled. The children were found but the suspect is still at large.
An Oklahoma Amber Alert has been issued for 11-year-old Trinity Underwood and 11-month-old Kodan Underwood after they were abducted by their father, who authorities say is armed and has violent tendencies.
The amber alert provided few details about the circumstances of the abduction but said the two children were taken in the Latta area, close to Ada, which is part of the Chickasaw Nation.
“[They] were abducted by their non-custodial father, Gary Underwood DOB 3-15-83. Underwood is known to be armed and has violent tendencies,” the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said in the amber alert.
Underwood, who is 39, has an outstanding warrant through the Lighthorse Police Department for domestic assault by strangulation.
Underwood may have taken the children in an older model Monte Carlo or a blue 1998 Chevy pickup truck bearing Chickasaw license plate CN26572, according to the amber alert.
Anyone who sees Trinity, Kodan, the suspect or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Oklahoma Highway Patrol if you have any other information that could help investigators.
