UPDATE: The amber alert has been canceled. Jameson was found safe.
An Alberta Amber Alert has been issued for 7-month-old Jameson Sundby after he was abducted from Fairview by his father, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
The incident happened at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday when Jameson was allegedly taken from his home in Fairview. Details about the exact circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released.
Jameson is believed to have been taken by his father, John Sundby. They were seen leaving the area in a black 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 with Alberta licence plate C-B-F, 3313. It’s unknown where John might be taking the child.
“Do not approach the suspect,” the amber alert said.
The suspect is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 11 inch tall and weighing 230 pounds. Jameson is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with a star on it and grey sweat pants with cars on them.
