The Most Anticipated Games of May – There’s So Much to Look Forward To!

Published on

DOOM: The Dark Ages

May is packed with exciting new game releases across the genres. Whether you enjoy shooters, simulators, fighting games, or multiplayer challenges, this month offers plenty to be excited about.

All of these games will be available worldwide at the same time, so wherever you are, it won’t affect when you can enjoy these games. So let’s see what the games are that keep the gamers hyped and excited.

The Precinct

After months of waiting, The Precinct is finally here. In this game, players step into the shoes of Nick Cordell Jr., a police officer in Averno City. Together with Nick, players will take part in reducing crime, managing crime scenes, engaging in chases, and making arrests. It’s quite exciting to revisit such a concept, since the market hasn’t seen a similarly themed game since the LA Noir days.

The game offers a top-down perspective wrapped in early 80s design, evoking a sense of nostalgia regardless of age.

This has been a long-anticipated title, and we are thrilled it is finally here. The Precinct will launch on May 13 for PC and current-generation consoles, but while waiting for this title, there are plenty of online games to try, especially at casino days canada which offers a huge library, as well as a deposit match-up and free spins for the newly registered.

DOOM: The Dark Ages

One of the most explosive and exciting games of the year is finally here. DOOM: The Dark Ages returns us to the Doom Slayer in a new game that looks like a dream come true for fans and possibly the best game in the series reboot that began in 2016.

This installment brings back everything great about DOOM, now with medieval-inspired design and an upgraded combat system focusing on physical presence and heavy attacks. The story acts as a prequel to DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal, showing the Doom Slayer’s early fight against demons and monsters of Hell.

DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released on May 15 for PC and current-generation consoles and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2

Three years after the first Capcom Fighting Collection, a second collection arrives featuring some of Capcom’s most beloved fighting games.

This edition includes eight games, such as Capcom vs. SNK from the early 2000s and two Power Stone games. The collection also offers new features, including adjustable difficulty for beginners, access to an art library with illustrations and design elements, online play, and more. Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launches on May 16 for PC and all last-generation consoles.

RoadCraft

This year will definitely not lack in indie releases. In RoadCraft, players will run a construction company specializing in restoring disaster-hit sites.

The game is a simulator where you visit destroyed locations and perform tasks like clearing debris, upgrading and repairing the site, and using various tools. Developed by Saber Interactive, RoadCraft features an advanced engine with realistic physics and precise control of heavy equipment. It includes disaster systems affecting weather and the type of destruction, adding realism.

Players will use many heavy tools, each with unique mechanics, across eight maps. RoadCraft releases on May 20 for PC and current-generation consoles.

Deliver At All Costs

Unlike the previous game, Deliver At All Costs is probably the exact opposite!

Here, you play a delivery person on crazy missions in a fully destructible world. You can cause chaos everywhere you go.

Each mission has bizarre elements, and the main objective is to deliver your package no matter what. This game looks wild and purely fun to try out! Deliver At All Costs releases on May 22 for PC and current-generation consoles.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN

This month’s highlight, combined with DOOM’s return, is a new title in the Elden Ring universe.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is a multiplayer game where up to three players face tough challenges in a round-based format. Players will battle bosses on shrinking maps while defeating mini-bosses to gain strength.

There are four fighter types, each with unique abilities. Early reviews have been positive, and this looks set to be a big success, even aside from its connection to the beloved Elden Ring.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN launches on May 30 for PC and all current and last-generation consoles except Nintendo Switch.
