Florida Amber Alert: Leon Scarborough abducted in St. Lucie County

A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for 12-year-old Leon Scarborough after he was allegedly abducted by his father in St. Lucie County, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
Leon was last seen on Thursday in the 6500 block of Nuevo Lagos in Fort Pierce, according to Friday’s amber alert. Details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released.
The suspect is Leon’s father, 54-year-old Tracey Scarborough. He’s described as a white, bald male with hazel eyes, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. His residence is in Indian River County.
Leon is described as a 12-year-old white male with blonde hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, shorts and yellow Crocs. He’s known to wear a large silver chain around his neck.
“If located, DO NOT APPROACH,” the amber alert said.
Anyone who sees Leon or Tracey is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the St Lucie County Sheriff’s Office at 772-465-5770 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
